Dear Barbara,
I would like to share my experience with others because I recall the feeling of hopelessness that I felt in my not being able to get around. What I didn't mention is that I am a sergeant in the Narcotics Division on the Houston Police Department and part of my job is to catch criminals who make drug deals with my squad of undercover officers. Many times I get into foot chases which may last for short or long distances. While my bone spur was hurting me, more of the crooks were able to flee. Being 50 years old, I still have a challenge apprehending teens and twenty year olds; however, I am physically able to keep a pace and eventually catch them (or some of them).

I was diagnosed with a bone spur in my right shoulder in November 2001. I began lifting weights in May 2001 but I began to feel some pain in the shoulder. I went to the doctor and had an x-ray taken which revealed a bone spur. Basically, I was told to live with it. My options were physical therapy which did little to no good or have an operation; even an operation couldn't guarantee results.
I began the calcium supplements in November after going online to learn more about spurs. I've been on the supplements since November 2001 as of this writing. I began lifting wieghts again with no difficulty and I've no pain in the right shoulder save for a teeny weenie reminder but nothing like I experienced before. I plan to remain on the product as part of a routine maintenance so my shoulder continues to heal and maintain its proper health. One of my reasons for starting back to lifting weights is to increase my bench press weight so as to qualify me for the agility exam into the NH State Police at the age of 46. Not bad for a young guy, eh!

I have suffered from a lower back bone spur for nearly six months. I am 63 and usually feel and look much younger until this bone spur on my L5 lower back began to pinch my leg nerve - it nearly crippled me. I tried some of my old remedies for such things such as Yucca and Chapparel and acid/alkaline body balancing but to no clear advantage.
I then ran across your web site and ordered you mineral supplement. When it arrived, I was a little surprised that it was a supplement from a wll known company. None-the-less, I started on a program of its usage all day long. After two weeks I noticed some improvement and pain reduction.
-- Then I made big mistake -- I started drinking regular coffee with each injestion thinking the coffee's acid would help nuetralize the alkalinity of the mineral supplement. After a week of this, I suddenly felt worse pain, and the second day after that I was in such horrible disabling leg and back pain I had to have an ambulance take me to an emergency room. --- The bottom line was: The doctor gave me the ususal pain pills, etc. but the high dose "advil" reduced the pain temporarily while I fugured out what went wrong.
That's when my wife chided me for taking caffine based coffee -- it absorbs calcium and creates the problem!! -- That was sure proved. I stopped coffee and continued your mineral pills. Two weeks later I was out of pain again -- and guess what -- its now four weeks later -- I am fully out of pain and "normal" frisky running about again!
Moral: Please inform your users to drop all caffine based products from their diet -- no coffee, no soft drinks, avoid chocolate, etc. - while continuing on the mineral supplements!!

I forwarded you email address to a friend of mine. He has been experiencing hip discomfort and the doctor has diagnosed that he has hip deterioration. He may have to have his hip replaced sometime in the future. I have suggested to him that there may be a supplement that can aid him with his pain. He should be getting to you in a couple of days.
I continue taking the "vital minerals" and after 6 years I still have no pain in my bone spur area. Hopefully, there is a product that can be just as effective for hip dicomfort. I still am chasing crooks in the Houston area and every once in a while I can still catch a fleet footed 20 year old. I am not as fast as I used to be but I am smarter. I continue to run for pleasure but, in our hot weather I now keep it under the 5 mile range.

I received the latest shipment of the subject product yesterday and read your note for comments.
First of all, this automatic reorder/shipment system is working out great. I have been getting the shipments in sufficient time before I have exhausted the current supply. This has helped me so I don't have to worry about running out.
I have been using this product, or a previous formula, for over 2 years and find that it has really helped my problem. I have osteoarthritis in my right shoulder, for which I have been taking Vioxx. However, my problem is complicated because of a fairly large bone spur on the shoulder joint which has caused me severe pain in the past. I investigated arthroscopy surgery but the bone spur is located in a position not suitable for this procedure; and, I certainly didn't want to go through the regular surgical procedure and endure the long recovery time and/or take the chance of it not really being that helpful. Since I have been taking the product, along with the Vioxx and another supplement, the pain has subsided to the point that it is something that I can live with. I am a golfer and I can play with out pain now. I also can sleep on my right side whereas I couldn't do this before. So, I am really satisfied with your product and will continue to use it until; you come up with a new/better formula.
